Finished work. Showing up to paint has been harde Finished work. Showing up to paint has been harder than usual while I’ve been in my grief but these paintings, while challenging, have given me somewhere to focus and have been a welcome distraction. Inspired by 1970s cocktail culture, each glass helped me build a small world where time doesn’t exist, where ice doesn’t melt, the drink never empties, and everything can linger just a little bit longer.
